Carlin Bates Creates a Storm on Social Media With “Inappropriate” Post – Fans Call It “Scary Heartless”!
RIN Bates Paine’s sister Carlin has been slammed for her “tone deaf” and “tasteless” social media uploads as her reality star sibling fights for her life in hospital.
Mom of seven Erin, 34, has been in the hospital for weeks after suffering severe complications following the birth of her youngest child.
Erin was rushed to the ICU for septic shock after welcoming her seventh tot Henry into the world and currently remains under medical supervision.
Her husband Chad Paine, 38, has been sharing updates on his wife’s condition via Instagram, and his latest post had everyone in tears.
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin, 27, is also in the hospital after welcoming her third child with husband Evan Stewart.
Yet in stark contrast from Chad’s heart-wrenching uploads, mom of three Carlin has been promoting her newfound bliss in her next stage of motherhood.

The TV star has not acknowledged her older sibling’s health battles, and has instead posted a handful of cheery sing-song videos to her Instagram page.
One featured Carlin and her loved ones prior to her giving birth, singing to a track with the words “the baby’s coming” as she held her baby bump.
In her caption she encouraged her followers to get involved and wrote, “We’ve got a little tiebreaker on the way… Any guesses? Boy or girl? Vote below!”
Another clip showed the star – again heavily pregnant – shimmying around and showing off her huge bump in her hospital gown.
She blew a kiss to the camera as her husband, as the video read, “So sorry we were late, my wife was throwing a fit.”
FAN BACKLASH
The Instagram video clips have not gone down well with Erin’s loyal followers.
They have flooded Reddit with their comments, with one who simply posted a screen grab from one of the videos and put, “I have no words … I just leave this here.”
A second wrote, “Hard to believe it’s from the same family. Wowww.”
A third offered a more balanced approach and wrote: “Obviously, it’s normal that Carlin and Evan are excited about their new baby. They shouldn’t have to hide that. But putting on this little musical for social media is in really bad taste.”
One then raged, “It’s just wild! My family is so close we know when someone has a zit or pet dies we all mourn for it. I can’t even fathom wanting to celebrate right now or even if I did not for photos.”
Another simply posted, “That’s terrible.”
One fan then mused, “I don’t think they need to take a break from social media or even address Erin if they don’t want to but posting these bizarro world videos is obviously going to be poorly received by anyone with a clue.
“And that could honestly be their intention to boost engagement.”
Others called the posts “tone deaf.”
SCARY SILENCE
Earlier this week, Chad’s followers expressed their worries after the TV star suddenly stopped providing updates after revealing over the weekend that Erin was on the “road to recovery.”
Fans feared that Erin’s condition might’ve declined shortly thereafter, prompting Chad’s silence.
However, he returned on Tuesday to announce that Erin had been transferred to a new hospital and was continuing her fight to get better.
He shared a clip of the couple crying while holding each other in Erin’s new hospital room.
He was then seen reading a touching letter to his sick wife penned by the pair’s little girl.
In addition to Brooklyn and their newborn son, Henry Blythe, Erin and Chad are parents to Carson, Everly, Holly, Finley, and William.

Fans followed their story on the former reality series, Bringing Up Bates, which documented Erin’s family as one of 18 children.
