Mahogany Roca is breaking her silence about her husband, Ben Rathbun’s death in an emotional note.
Mahogany recently interacted with her followers on Instagram via a Q&A. When someone asked Mahogany how she was doing now, she replied, “Honestly, Jesus has been my help all this time. He is the one who lifts me up and gives me strength.” Mahogany talked about how Jesus helped her get a new identity and also helped her heal. “He restored me,” she added.

Mahogany then wrote that there are days when her heart cries for Ben. “But he fills my void,” she added. Mahogany gets her strength through prayer. She suggested that her followers turn off their TV sets and “talk to your creator and God.”
Mahogany wrote, “he waits for you with his arms open,” while adding that one shouldn’t expect adversity to surprise them, but that they should “surprise the adversity from the side of Christ Jesus.”
What Mahogany’s Response To Fan’s Question About Her Health Means
In the past, Mahogany has talked about suffering from a pill overdose that almost killed her. She had developed a habit of taking pills and thought they would help her get a sound sleep. When Mahogany became unconscious, it was Ben who screamed for her to wake up. Mahogany kept disappearing from social media for long stretches after the show.
While Mahogany and Ben’s wedding wasn’t filmed for 90 Day Fiancé, it was mentioned in an episode of 90 Day Diaries, which also revealed the difficult times Ben was facing before his death.
He was experiencing financial hardship and even had to sell his blood to afford a flight to Peru to see his wife. With his passing at a young age and Mahogany currently being just 25, it’s clear that coping with his death has not been easy for her.
