CBS reality show “Survivor” is celebrating its upcoming 50th season with a hidden immunity idol hunt in all 50 states, and it’s coming to Minnesota this weekend.
Survivor 50 Challenge shared a clue Thursday for where the idol can be found Saturday from 12-6 p.m.
It’s so obvious that anyone who’s spent a modicum of time in the Twin Cities will immediately know where to start looking.
Spoiler alert: it’s the Mall of America in Bloomington.
Many locals commented on social media, expressing frustration that the hunt is happening at the megamall, on a Saturday no less.
Hunts in other states have brought “Survivor” fans to more exotic locations that actually required a bit of brain power, like ice castles in New Hampshire and a lighthouse in Oregon.
But the good news is Minnesota native Carolyn Wiger, who made it to the final three on Season 44, will be there for the event at MOA.
Multiple people can find the idol in each location and enter for a chance to win a trip to the “Survivor” Season 50 live finale in Los Angeles on May 20.
The season, featuring 24 returning contestants, begins Feb. 25 on CBS.
